Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz. Amethyst gets its name from the Greek word amethusthos meaning "not drunk". Amethyst has for centuries been considered useful for preventing drunkenness and excess, which is why ancient Greeks wore amethyst and carved drinking vessels from it.

The eye-catching amethyst crystals have a long history of meanings and properties, all of which are positive, as they were known to bring forth the purest aspirations of humanity. Among other things, amethyst is said to be calming and good for stress. Amethyst is the month stone for February.

Citrine is in the mineral class quartz. It takes its color from the traces of iron in the quartz and can be anything from light yellow to bright shades of amber. The name comes from lemon because of the yellow color. The "sunshine stone" citrine is like summer incarnate. The meaning of citrine is focused on prosperity, joy and energy. Citrine is the month stone for November.

Rock crystal comes from the Greek word "krystallos" (ice, ice cold), because according to old beliefs, rock crystal was frozen ice that could not thaw.

Rock crystal is unsurpassed in the diversity of its uses. Through its purity and clarity and because of the absence of extraneous dyes or turbid substances, it sharpens our senses and the knowledge of ourselves.
