Christer Tonnby:
Christer Tonnby is a Swedish jewelry designer and silversmith who runs the company Smycket Nordic Art. Nordic Art jewelery was started in 1970 with a focus on genuine artisanal production of jewelery for folk costumes, so-called costume silver. Both Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria wear these jewels. They manufacture the jewelery in the same way as the old originals, which they have had to borrow from museums, local communities and private individuals, were once made on.
For many years, the company has been the market leader with sales both within and outside the country's borders. In addition to this jewelry, they can also display a significant collection of modern innovative jewelry in gold, silver and bronze. This necklace is an example of this beautiful innovative jewelry.
The production has for many years been located in Unnaryd, but was moved a number of years ago to Oskarström.
