Blomstersvärd is a necklace that combines both soft and hard, strong and weak just like life itself. The large stone of tiger's eye is shaped like a sword. The stone is set in an antique silver colored pendant with winding stems and leaves and two small turquoise like flower buds. The tiger eye stone is approx 45mm * 15mm * 5mm. The pendant hangs from a black waxed textile cord that looks like leather. The cord is approx. 44 cm long + approx. 5 cm extension. The cord is 2 mm wide.
Tiger's eye is in the mineral class quartz. It has a golden to reddish-brown color and a silky sheen. Tiger eye strengthens your self-confidence and your inner strength.
The word "turquoise" is old and probably comes from the French pierre turquoise , "Turkish stone". The naming is based on a misconception; turquoise does not occur in Turkey, but trade between the Turks and Western Europe meant that it came to be associated with Asia Minor. It occurs instead in Iran and Afghanistan, where it is called "firuze".
